After the rebuild, Heights’ students (and our community) will lose the majority of the current Heights’ fields – and end up with the smallest fields in the district – by a long shot. Del Mar Heights will drop from the 3rd largest fields to the smallest, on a redesign for less students!
After the Pacific Highlands Ranch school is built, the average field space for the other eight DMUSD schools will be roughly . . . 130,000 square feet. The new Heights’ school fields will be less than half of that.
The next closest school – Ashley Falls – will have 45% more fields on a 60% smaller site!!
Say it ain’t so.
